The Doobie Brothers Nashville tour 2024 included 23 supplementary dates to their 50th-anniversary tour set to take place in 2020. The tour will see Michael McDonald, Tom Johnston, Pat Simmons, and John McFee feat together for the first times in 25 years. The band after that announced that further Orleans’ dirty Dozen Brass Band will relieve as retain for everything of the 50th-anniversary tour dates.

McDonald also added in a recent interview with NPR, “With the Doobies, everybody in the band was proud to be a Doobie Brother. And to this day, I think of myself as a Doobie Brother — anything these years forward-thinking.”

The band returned to news headlines earlier this year once the rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced that the Doobie Brothers were upon the list of nominees to be considered for the class of 2020 closely names subsequent to Pat Benatar, Dave Matthews Band, Depeche Mode, Whitney Houston, and Judas Priest.
