The Doobie Brothers Charlotte tour 2024 included 23 further dates to their 50th-anniversary tour set to take place in 2020. The tour will see Michael McDonald, Tom Johnston, Pat Simmons, and John McFee feat together for the first era in 25 years. The band then announced that new Orleans’ dirty Dozen Brass Band will serve as withhold for anything of the 50th-anniversary tour dates.

McDonald also added in a recent interview with NPR, “With the Doobies, everybody in the band was proud to be a Doobie Brother. And to this daylight, I think of myself as a Doobie Brother — whatever these years sophisticated.”

The band returned to news headlines earlier this year once the rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced that the Doobie Brothers were on the list of nominees to be considered for the class of 2020 nearby names subsequent to Pat Benatar, Dave Matthews Band, Depeche Mode, Whitney Houston, and Judas Priest.
