The Doobie Brothers Memphis tour 2021 included 23 supplementary dates to their 50th-anniversary tour set to take place in 2020. The tour will see Michael McDonald, Tom Johnston, Pat Simmons, and John McFee act out together for the first era in 25 years. The band afterward announced that supplementary Orleans’ dirty Dozen Brass Band will encouragement as maintain for anything of the 50th-anniversary tour dates.
McDonald also added in a recent interview with NPR, “With the Doobies, everybody in the band was proud to be a Doobie Brother. And to this morning, I think of myself as a Doobie Brother — everything these years well ahead.”
The band returned to news headlines earlier this year afterward the stone & Roll Hall of Fame announced that the Doobie Brothers were upon the list of nominees to be considered for the class of 2020 next to names afterward Pat Benatar, Dave Matthews Band, Depeche Mode, Whitney Houston, and Judas Priest.
