The Doobie Brothers Maryland Heights tour 2024 included 23 other dates to their 50th-anniversary tour set to take place in 2020. The tour will see Michael McDonald, Tom Johnston, Pat Simmons, and John McFee operate together for the first time in 25 years. The band in addition to announced that supplementary Orleans’ filthy Dozen Brass Band will benefits as preserve for all of the 50th-anniversary tour dates.

McDonald also added in a recent interview with NPR, “With the Doobies, everybody in the band was proud to be a Doobie Brother. And to this hours of daylight, I think of myself as a Doobie Brother — everything these years forward-looking.”

The band returned to news headlines earlier this year gone the stone & Roll Hall of Fame announced that the Doobie Brothers were on the list of nominees to be considered for the class of 2020 contiguously names subsequent to Pat Benatar, Dave Matthews Band, Depeche Mode, Whitney Houston, and Judas Priest.
