The Doobie Brothers Bristow tour 2024 included 23 additional dates to their 50th-anniversary tour set to take place in 2020. The tour will look Michael McDonald, Tom Johnston, Pat Simmons, and John McFee put on an act together for the first period in 25 years. The band after that announced that new Orleans’ dirty Dozen Brass Band will sustain as retain for anything of the 50th-anniversary tour dates.

McDonald also added in a recent interview with NPR, “With the Doobies, everybody in the band was proud to be a Doobie Brother. And to this morning, I think of myself as a Doobie Brother — anything these years far ahead.”

The band returned to news headlines earlier this year past the rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced that the Doobie Brothers were upon the list of nominees to be considered for the class of 2020 alongside names similar to Pat Benatar, Dave Matthews Band, Depeche Mode, Whitney Houston, and Judas Priest.
