The Doobie Brothers Saratoga Springs tour 2024 included 23 other dates to their 50th-anniversary tour set to take place in 2020. The tour will see Michael McDonald, Tom Johnston, Pat Simmons, and John McFee action together for the first time in 25 years. The band next announced that supplementary Orleans’ dirty Dozen Brass Band will bolster as maintain for all of the 50th-anniversary tour dates.

McDonald also added in a recent interview with NPR, “With the Doobies, everybody in the band was proud to be a Doobie Brother. And to this morning, I think of myself as a Doobie Brother — anything these years progressive.”

The band returned to news headlines earlier this year following the rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced that the Doobie Brothers were upon the list of nominees to be considered for the class of 2020 alongside names taking into account Pat Benatar, Dave Matthews Band, Depeche Mode, Whitney Houston, and Judas Priest.
